Charmingly simple vintage prom necklace, circa 1950s.
The silver tone setting shows signs of wear on its back
(see picture #4) but there are no signs of verdigris nor
corrosion. This, coupled with its obvious age and the
excellent condition of the rhinestones, leads me to
believe that this pretty piece was worn a good deal and
well taken care of. The necklace color is a clear, but
not icy, crystal and it measures 14 inches in length with
a box style clasp which actually inserts into the setting
of its last rhinestone (picture #3). Signed "Karu." In
good vintage condition with no signs of dying stones.
