Stunning and whimsical, this Sterling silver star
brooch has a gold wash which has faded in some
places but its stones are all prong set, nice and
bright. It has three tiered construction (see picture
2), measures 2 1/2 inches in diameter and is
stamped, "Sterling," on its reverse. In the interest
of full disclosure there is a small amount of
movement between the tiers but frankly I think that
may be intentional to the design rather than a
design flaw. In good condition. This brooch,
especially with its multicolor stones in open-back
settings, is a delight to the eyes.
