Vintage pressed plastic ring box in very good
condition. I know these are usually identified
as celluloid though short of setting it on fire I
have no way to confirm. So for our purposes
it's identified as an early plastic with a lovely
embossed floral design and classic Deco style
domed top. Originally used by Walter J.
Linhardt, Jeweler & Silversmith, of Defiance,
Ohio, as the fourth picture shows. This pretty
ring box is cream color, measuring 1 5/16
inches in height and its base measures 2 1/4 x
2 1/2 inches. The ring bed itself is royal blue
velvet and the lid interior is lined with a satiny
material. Stamped, "Made in USA," on the
bottom. Best guess? Circa 1930s
