I'm not sure what the inclusions are in these Lucite earrings;
they're black and white and are embedded throughout. In
any event, the Lucite is the color of applejuice and although
when we picked these up we were told they were Bakelite, a
409 test on the material comes back only a very faint yellow
so to be on the safe side we're billing them as Lucite. The
backs are set into the material itself because you can see
where the finding appears within the material (see center of
each earring). They're in good vintage condition with little or
no wear apparent on the metal parts and measure 5/8 inch
in diameter
