Wedding Cake Beads in Sea Foam Green

Today we’re profiling a delightful wedding cake beads necklace.  The primary color is a lovely shade of sea foam green with raised and textured touches of blue, gold and dusty rose.

Each of the beads in this 20 inch long piece measure a shade under 1/4 inch in diameter and you’ll notice that the barrel clasp on this item appears to be a replacement, since it’s shiny and doesn’t have the patina of age.

Wedding cake beads are called such because their raised detailing mimics the frosting and festooning of a wedding cake; though the term immediately brings to mind jewelry in soft and dusty pastel shades, these can actually be found in a wider range of colors that you might expect, including dark blue and black (which is quite striking in appearance).
