Bakelite Mah Jongg Stretch Bracelet

If you’re in the mood for Bakelite bracelets that are pure fun, check out this chunky Bakelite Mah Jongg stretch bracelet.

And ‘chunky’ is the right word!  If you’ve never seen one of these novelties in person, pay close attention to the dimensions.  These Mah Jongg tiles each measure 1 1/4  x 7/8 inches and a full 1/2 inch thick!  They’re big, they’re bold and very much the attention-getting piece you’d expect.

This particular item is a rich and creamy looking butterscotch color with black, red and bluish-green motifs, with two rows of frosted black glass spacer beads separating each tile, and it tests positive with Simichrome polish.
