Monet brown stone necklace




This piece is of surprisingly heavy construction and consists of tear drop and round shaped agate stone beads, individually knotted, with a gold tone toggle clasp closer.  Each bead is individual in its own right, with slight variations in shape and coloration, although the piece's overall color is a medium, semitransparent brown with ghostly gray swirls.  Stamped, 'Monet,' on a little gold tone hang tag attached on one end, it measures 17 inches in overall length, with the round beads having an approximate diameter of .5 inch.  In excellent condition, we estimate its vintage as no earlier than 1980s.
