At first glance the large Bakelite beads in the bracelet appear scored
with vertical lines but in fact the 'panel' portions are
comprised of
three separate, distinctively shaped beads that are mimicked
in the
matching earrings. Both pieces are 1" in height and the
bracelet's
3-bead panels as well as the earrings measure 7/8" in width.
Certain
of the bracelet's beads have a darker, brownish color which is
not
damage to the beads nor their finish but is a part of the Bakelite
material itself. The earring's metal clip backs show only
usual and
customary wear and this set tests positive with Simichrome.
