Military Styled Bakelite Tiles Pin in Silver Tone - Item No. P170

This military looking pin features three layer construction (see additional photos) riveted at the center and a four-color pattern of small Bakelite tiles, all of which test positive with Simichrome. Sturdily constructed, it has a C-style safety clasp and measures 2.5 inches across. In very good condition.

Bakelite Horse Head in Root Beer and Butterscotch

Root Beer and Butterscotch Bakelite Horse Head Pin - Item No. P178

Gorgeous, classic example of a horse head pin, rendered in butterstoch and root beer Bakelite. Both colors test positive with Simichrome polish. There are three small nicks/scratches on the reverse side that do not in any way interfere with this item's wearability. The clasp is a C closure with safety latch, in near pristine condition. Measures approximately 2 3/4 x 2 3/8 inches. Overall, this piece is in excellent condition.

Green Carved Bakelite Prystal Pin with Painted Flowers - Item No. P181

This delectible piece is a clear and bright apple green that measures approximately 2.75 inches in length and a little over 1.5 inches at the widest point. It's carved in a stylized 'sunburst' pattern and centered with multicolor, reverse painted flowers in bright and happy colors. In excellent condition and tests positive with Simichrome polish.

This chunky piece features a reverse carved apple juice Bakelite 'dome' mounted on black Lucite with a simple C closure pin back riveted in place. Only age-appropriate wear to the pin back (see additional photos). It measures 1.5 inches square and 7/8" in height and tests positive with Simichrome polish.

Red and Apple Juice Bakelite Reverse Carved Dress Clips - Item No. C111

Flashy pair of two color Bakelite clips in bright red and apple juice Bakelite. The apple juice part is reverse carved and both colors test positive with Simichrome. Each measure 2 7/8" in length and 1 3/8" at the widest and show very little wear. Stamped on the back of the clip mechanism with, 'Made in USA.'

This deeply carved clip measures 2.25" in length and a little over 1/4" at its narrowest, with the clip fastened with small screws. We're rating the clip mechanism as fair: It latches to fabric fine but could use some tightening. Price is reflective of this. The prystal/Bakelite material itself is in fine condition without chips or cracks and tests positive with Simichrome.
